Captain Jacqueline Salas is a native of Southern California who received her commission through the United States Air Force Academy. She attended Undergraduate Space Training at Vandenberg AFB and went on to operate GPS Satellites at Schriever AFB, Colorado. From there, she served as Program Manager at Los Angeles AFB, CA where she facilitated the development and fielding of a variety of different satellite programs and later deployed in a non-combat role to support operations at Al Udeid AB, Qatar. As the Operations Flight Commander at Detachment 060, she pulls from past experiences to connect cadets with the many opportunities that will prepare them as the next generation of leaders in the Air and Space Forces.
